Are you having issues being able to grow plants in a pot?
The problem maybe Root Rot.

What is Root Rot?
Root Rot occurs in the soil when the water is sitting in the pot too long around the root of the plant causing it to rot. It’s caused by overwatering or the most likely cause is poor drainage in the pots that you are using

What Can You Do About it?
Don’t worry there are easy solutions. First you can buy pots that already have drainage holes or to save money you can drill holes in your existing pots. I used my drill and a medium sized drill bit and drilled holes on the outer edges of the bottom of the pot.
You don’t want to make the holes too big but just small enough to let the water flow through.
This way the water doesn’t sit in the pot and cause root rot.
Once you have the proper drainage in place you can pot your plants and they are more likely to flourish
I would recommend doing this at the beginning of the season before you even start planting because if you make the holes after you already have drainage problems it might be too late and thee root rot could already set it in.
I did it after my pots weren’t draining properly which I do not advise. However, we have a really dry climate here so I think that is a significant factor in how I was able to save the plants before root rot became a problem.
